I was surprised this litte thing let me get so close. The day before I was chasing one back and forth because every I got close to it, it would fly to another leaf. Then when I would get close to it again, it'd go back to the leaf it was on before.

This is an excellent photo of a dragonfly. I couldn't find one that looked just like this one, so I again, I can't tell you what kind it is, but I do know it's a darner of the Aeshnidae family of dragonflies.
